The 3-year old is the boss

My sister used to have a shirt when she was little that said "I'm the boss". I need to get one for my daughter.
Yesterday, she went outside to play with her cousins without her shoes on. When I told her she needed to come in and put her shoes on, she said "I'm not available to do that right now".
When I told her she couldn't have another cookie before dinner she told me I was not making a good choice and that I needed to go in time out.
I try not to laugh when I hear her say these things. She always keeps me entertained.

How funny to hear such grown up expressions! Atleast it reflects well on her parents' conversations!

You can tell what words I try to use with her when you hear her talk. I even hear her tell her dolls that she is frustrated with them because they aren't going to bed right away. : >

Oh, what a great chuckle for the day! Talk about "out of the mouths of babes..." I laughed outright when I read them.

She is so funny! She really keeps you on your toes. In case you don't remember me, I am the swim class mom. My little boy, Seth, had swim class with Ginny. Your blog is so cute! I'll let you know as soon as I start one,
